When I was twelve, I sew the blades of a windmill from a big piece of pine. It took me two weeks, every night. It smelled great. After getting my degree from university (ir.) I fell ill and had to stay in bed for 6 months. During that time, I thought by myself: how would I like to grow old? I remembered the scent of wood and that was the answer. That answer, that conviction, was the start of my carreer as an artist. Since a couple years, this conviction is Nature Access. I now smell wood, everyday, in my atelier, in the woods. And this makes me provide nature access for more and more people. As a painter uses paint to express himself, so I use trees. A painter makes a painting, I build a Nature Access Network. I cut fire wood trees in parts, distribute them under as many people as I can, during events, workshops, families, companies, and ask these people to register their part, thus holding the tree together, in a new digital form. All registrars are invited for Tree Mobs: a meeting under an old tree on a hot summer day. Their tree part is also a souvenir of the event, an their entry ticket for the Tree Mob. The Tree Part is their connection to the world out there, and to trees as Nature Access Points. Their Tree Part make them go out more, for a stroll in a park, or they can think of their favourite tree of their youth: Wireless Access My motto is Nature Access 4 All, access to nature for anybody, quick and easy, whenever, where ever, it is a comment on the internet and social media. This motto connects demand and supply of nature. People who are inside alot, are attracted to go out with beautiful nature, beautiful trees and park, green streets, old growth forests. People and countries with beautiful nature, are rewarded, as you must have nature to provide people with it. The true challenge of Nature Access 4 All is to offer Nature Access of children in the highrises, or 9-5-office workers on the demand side. And to take care yourself of the tree or forest near you on the supplyside.
