VDWVM Nature Access Intranet - 2500 Members

My motto is Nature Access 4 All: everyone has a right for access to nature, easy and quick, whenever, wherever. To achieve this goal, I am building a Global Nature Access Network. All trees serve as Nature Access Points, all forests in the world are the Backbone. This Network is a comment on Facebook.

Building a network is connecting people. If I win, I will start connecting people by spreading 2500 Parts of the Old Oak of Zoelen (felled by a storm) to as many people as possible, starting with all visitors of the VDWVM Award Event. All pieces are numbered, and go accompanied by a certificate with info of the donortree.

To keep the Old Oak of Zoelen together, people can register their part, thus creating a digital database of all tree parts. This database represents the tree, in a new form. All registered tree part owners will be invited for a Tea and Cake Tree Mob, under an old tree, on a hot summerday, meeting people of same and other Nature Access Intranets I built.

The Tree Parting Process as shown on the photo's takes quite some time and energy. I will spend 5000 euro's on this. The other half, 5000 euro's, I wil use to realize 20 x 1 Square Meter Nature Access Gardens on the balkony of children who live in flats.

During the Tree Mob, I will discuss with all present the real challenges of Nature Access 4 All: how can we offer Nature Access to kids in the highrises, office workers and all others? Everyone present can also become a Nature Access Provider. Anyone who cares for young and old trees, old and new growth forests, or for that matter any piece of green anywhere is providing access to nature.

Meeting under old trees is a statement in itself. "Old trees are a symbol of constancy in a world that is ever changing. They are symbols of living history and enriches the local character .
